Onboarding Guide

Step 1: Registration

Join our ABOUT YOU Marketplace via a simplified onboarding process with our Seller Center platform.

Step 2: Provide Information

Complete the onboarding questionnaire.

Once your initial application is approved, you will gain access to the Seller Center. There, you will find detailed information on the terms and conditions, along with our onboarding documentation. You will also be asked to fill out the onboarding questionnaire required to move forward in the process.

This form helps us to collect necessary information such as company, logistics and invoicing details, contact persons as well as brands you will bring live.

The questionnaire consists of 4 parts:

Your Data

1. Select Your Type of Business: If you are a sole proprietorship choose ‘Natural Person’.

2. Company Data: Remember to include the legal entity suffix in the company name.

Fulfillment

You can choose between Fulfilment by Seller or Fulfillment by About You

Here you will be asked to enter the countries where you would like to sell your products. You are free to choose the countries you want to onboard from the currently available ones.

Self-adhesive return label in each shipping box LUCID Number (Required to sell in Germany) Dispatch within 24h; delivery within 72–96h. Use one of our approved Last Mile Carriers (LMC) per country	VAT Compliance: DE & CZ IDs are mandatory (plus SK & PL for international warehousing). For all other markets, provide either a local VAT ID or confirm your OSS (One Stop Shop) registration.

Please note that at the moment only the listed shipping service providers may be used as the 'Last Mile Carriers' for shipping and returns in the respective country.

Brands

The brands you would like to onboard.

Please note, you can always add more brands after your initial go-live

You can select from already existing brands on ABOUT YOU or add a new one.

Adding new brands:

1. Select if you’re the Trademark owner or not: If not, please provide the Trademark owner name.

2. Your manufacturer needs to be located within the EU (Name of the EU manufacturer (Art. 3 (8) Regulation (EU) 2023/988) or, for non-EU suppliers, name of the importer/ authorized representative (Art. 3 (10) and (9) Regulation EU 2023/988)).

Please ensure you indicate correctly if your company is publicly traded.

Step 3: Verify Business

Submit the KYC form to confirm your company details.

As part of the onboarding process, every partner needs to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process. This is a standard compliance requirement designed by the European Legislation for the purpose of combating financial crime.

What You’ll Need to Complete the Questionnaire (non-exhaustive)

• Recent Commercial Register Excerpt (legal entity) / Business Registration (sole proprietorship) / Partnership Agreement

• Bank statement (≤ 3 months old, showing company name, IBAN, BIC)

• VAT Certificate

• Valid Passport or e-ID (owners & representatives)

KYC Process

Identification

Provide information about your company and the people involved, and upload supporting documents (e.g. bank account confirmation, business registration certificate for sole traders, ID documents).

The data you submit for the KYC Process should be related to the same legal entity you submitted your onboarding data for.

Verification

The person signing the contract with SCAYLE Payments GmbH will receive a link to complete the video identification after submitting the KYC questionnaire.

Sign-Off

Once the review is complete, you’ll receive a KYC summary and the Payment Services Framework Agreement via DocuSign.

Step 4: Upload Products

Choose your preferred product integration method to list products.

Once you complete your KYC Questionnaire, while your data is being reviewed, you will be able to start uploading your products in the Seller Center.

What You’ll Need to Upload Products (non-exhaustive)

• Valid EAN

• Product photo in 3:4 format

• Bust view photo

• Intrastat data: country of origin, custom tariffs code and weight of the product

Step 5: Go Live

Activate your products and start growing your sales.

Once your questionnaire is approved, your products are uploaded and your KYC verification is complete, you're ready for the final step. We'll activate your account, and you can start selling to millions of fashion lovers across Europe!
