Welcome! This guide explains our new Campaigns feature, showing you how to join major sales events, the benefits for your brand, and how pricing and invoicing work.
With Black Friday just around the corner, this is the perfect time to learn how to use this powerful new tool.
🚀 What Are Campaigns & Why Should I Join?
At ABOUT YOU, we run over 40 high-energy campaigns a year for events like Black Friday, Summer Sales, and more. These are huge shopping moments when we invest heavily in marketing to bring millions of customers to our shop.
This new feature is your direct ticket to participate. By joining, you can:
Boost Your Visibility: Your products get featured under the official "Sale" banner, reaching many more customers.
Highlight Your Offers: Your products receive a special "DEAL" badge that makes them stand out.
Drive Conversion: Discounts and the "DEAL" badge are proven to increase clicks and sales.
Strengthen Your Brand: Participating in our major events builds brand awareness and shows customers you're a key partner.
📋 How to Participate: A Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps to join a campaign.
Step 1: Check Your Invitation
You will receive an invitation via email with all the key details, usually one to two weeks before the campaign starts.
Step 2: Find the Campaign in Seller Center
Go to your Seller Center account and navigate to Promotions > Campaigns.
Here, you will find the campaign dashboard. You can see all Now (active), Joined, Past, and Upcoming campaigns. Click on the campaign you want to join.

Step 3: Review the Campaign Details
On the campaign card, you will see all the essential information:
Participation Deadline: The last day to join or edit your submission.
Promotion Period: The dates the campaign will be live in the shop.
Participating Countries: The markets included in this campaign.
Discount Range: Our recommended discount to be competitive.
Step 4: Click "Join" and Choose Your Method
You have two simple options for how to add your products.
OPTION 1: Participate with Your Full Assortment (The Quick Way)
This is the fastest way to get maximum participation.
Select the "Choose a percentage for the whole assortment" option.
Choose a single discount (e.g., 20%).
Click "Join now".
You're done! Your entire assortment will be included in the sale.
OPTION 2: Select Specific Products (The Strategic Way)
This is perfect for targeting specific items, like bestsellers or last season's stock.
Click on the "Select products" button.
Click DOWNLOAD to get the product list.
Open the file and enter your discounts for the products you want to include.
Upload your completed file.

Step 5: Manage Your Participation (Before the Deadline)
After joining, you can return to the campaign dashboard at any time before the participation deadline to:
See a countdown to the deadline.
Edit your discounts.
Leave the campaign if you change your mind.
Once the deadline passes, your submission is locked, and the discounts will go live automatically during the promotion period.

❗️ IMPORTANT RULES – Please Read
Please review these rules carefully to ensure your participation is successful.
Use this Feature only: You must use this "Campaigns" feature to participate. Discounts sent through your normal price feed will not be included in the campaign or get the "DEAL" badge.
Discounts in Steps of 5: All discounts must be in steps of 5 (e.g., 10%, 15%, 20%, 35%).
One Discount for all Countries: The discount you set for a product will apply to all participating countries. You cannot set different discounts per country for the same item.
Lists are by Color: The product list you download for Option 2 is on the Color Variant level, not the EAN level.
💸 How Invoicing & Pricing Work
We've made the financial part simple and transparent.
How Prices Appear in the Shop
During the campaign, your discount is applied to your last transmitted price. All discounted items get the "DEAL" badge. When the campaign ends, your prices automatically return to normal.

How Invoicing Works
There are no extra fees. The process is fully automated in your settlement file:
Here's a simple example:
Your product's normal price (initialAmount): €100
You offer a 20% campaign discount.
The customer pays: €80
Our commission is then calculated on the final €80 selling price, not the original €100.
This is a key benefit: You only pay commission on the final price the customer pays. Furthermore, this lower price might even cause your product to fall into a lower commission cluster, saving you even more.
🏆 3 Pro-Tips for Campaign Success
Prepare Ahead: For big events like Black Friday, make sure all your products are online and, most importantly, have enough stock to meet the demand.
Make a Great Offer: Be competitive. We know our customers love to use the "highest discount" filter. A strong offer can push your products right to the top of the list.
Keep the Momentum Going: Black Friday is huge, but it's just one of many events. Joining campaigns regularly keeps your products visible. For maximum impact, combine your campaign participation with Sponsored Products.
